NEWPORT BEACH, CA, February 17, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lauren-Elaine Designs (LED), the high-end, L.A. based women's label by designer Lauren Elaine, is excited to announce that the LED label will be carried exclusively in Los Angeles by the noted Jane Doe John Doe Boutique. The boutique, known for carrying the popular creations of such Project Runway alumni as Jerell Scott, and Leanne Marshall, is located at 3rd and La Cienega, and is a hot-spot for celebrities and those seeking the ultimate in LA fashion. Jane Doe John Doe will feature select pieces from all of the collections by Lauren Elaine.
The LED label debuted during LA Fashion Week in March 2008, and designer Lauren Elaine will next be debuting the 2009 "Siren Collection" at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Downtown in April 2009. Lauren Elaine will be the headlining designer, along with David Kahn of Kahn Jeans, at the San Diego event.
The LED label consists primarily of gowns, dresses, and separates designed with an emphasis on effortless elegance and individuality. For Summer 2009, LED presents the "Siren Collection. The "Siren Collection" gets its name from both the silver screen sirens of the 40s and 50s, as well as the mythical sirens from Greek Mythology. For the collection, designer Lauren Elaine looks to inspiration from water, full skirted vintage silhouettes of the 50s, fairytales, and a palette of aquas, bold florals and pastels, and subtle hints of metallic.
LED has recently appeared in the pages of 944, Shut Up, Riviera, and numerous red carpets. The label continues to be carried at boutiques throughout southern California, Texas, and online at http://www.Lauren-ElaineDesigns.com
